Fins TE coach to step in as HC for second half of game
Marcel Louis-Jacques, a former Carolina Panthers beat writer, joined ESPN in 2019 as a reporter covering the Buffalo Bills before moving to the Miami Dolphins in 2021. Miami Dolphins tight ends coach Jon Embree will temporarily take over head-coaching duties in a preseason game against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, as a “practice run” in case head coach Mike McDaniel is ever unavailable. The two coaches have a history working together since 2017 with the San Francisco 49ers. Embree has vast coaching experience at both collegiate and NFL levels, mainly coaching tight ends. He also served as the head coach for the University of Colorado in 2011 and 2012.
