Ex-LB L. Taylor charged for sex offender violation

Former linebacker L. Taylor faces charges for violating sex offender laws.

Lawrence Taylor, a Hall of Fame linebacker, was charged in Florida for failing to update his address on the state’s sex offender registry. He turned himself in and pleaded not guilty to the third-degree felony charge. This is the second time he has been charged with this offense. In 2021, he blamed a divorce for not updating his address. Taylor previously pleaded guilty in New York in 2011 to misdemeanor sexual misconduct charges. He was sentenced to probation and ordered to register as a sex offender. Taylor spent his entire career with the New York Giants, helping them win Super Bowl titles in 1987 and 1991.
