Jaylen Waddle and Dolphins reach 3-year $84.75M contract extension with $76M guaranteed, reports say
The Miami Dolphins and wide receiver Jaylen Waddle have reached a 3-year, $84.75 million contract extension, with $76 million guaranteed. Waddle, a key target for quarterback Tua Tagovailoa, holds franchise records for consecutive 1,000-yard seasons and most receiving yards in his first three years. Since joining the NFL in 2021, Waddle has 251 receptions and 18 touchdowns, with 10 games of at least 100 receiving yards. The sixth overall pick in the 2021 draft, Waddle now ranks among the league’s highest-paid receivers, behind Tyreek Hill and Davante Adams. His $28.25 million annual salary is the third-highest guaranteed for a wide receiver in NFL history.
