Former Bears star Tarik Cohen signs with Jets as he attempts NFL comeback
Former All-Pro Tarik Cohen is joining Aaron Rodgers with the New York Jets on a one-year deal after being released by the Carolina Panthers. Cohen has struggled with injuries, missing the last three seasons due to a torn ACL, MCL, leg fracture, and torn Achilles. Despite setbacks, Cohen is aiming to make a comeback as a reserve running back and special teamer for the Jets. Known for his versatility and ability to approach 1,600 all-purpose yards in his first two NFL seasons, Cohen will have the opportunity to compete for snaps as a return man alongside Xavier Gipson with the NFL revamping kick returns for 2024.
