Foot issue forces Rams star to sit out OTAs
Rams running back Kyren Williams had an impressive sophomore season in 2023, finishing third in the NFL in rushing yards despite missing five games due to injuries. He is currently dealing with a foot issue that is keeping him out of the team’s offseason program but is expected to be back for training camp. Coach Sean McVay is not worried about Williams’ status, while quarterback Matthew Stafford is in attendance at OTAs despite seeking more guaranteed money on his contract. Stafford’s high salary cap hit could benefit from a restructured deal that would provide him with more guaranteed money and lower his future cap liability.
