Cowboys Update: Dallas Closing in on Trade for CB Joey Porter Jr.
In 2026, the Dallas Cowboys have faced significant injury challenges, leading to multiple players being added to the injured reserve. To bolster their struggling secondary, they have made roster changes, including a trade for cornerback Joey Porter Jr. The Cowboys, now 1-2 and coming off a tough loss, are preparing to face the Houston Texans under less-than-ideal conditions. Middle linebacker Barham has performed well in his role, but the team is still dealing with various injuries. Additionally, the Cowboys are planning for upcoming free agents while navigating their current hardships in the season.
