Cowboys and RB Elliott Considering Reunion, Sources Say
The Dallas Cowboys and free agent running back Ezekiel Elliott are interested in reuniting, although a deal has not been finalized. Elliott finished the 2023 season strong with the New England Patriots, increasing his workload in the final weeks. He had signed a one-year deal with the Patriots after being released by the Cowboys last March. Elliott, who turns 29 in July, has had a successful career with the Cowboys, leading the NFL in rushing in two out of his first three seasons. He has rushed for 8,904 yards and 71 touchdowns in his career, earning three Pro Bowl selections.
