Teenager charged with new felony in connection to shooting at Chiefs’ Super Bowl parade

A 16-year-old boy is facing a new felony charge for his involvement in the mass shooting at the Kansas City Chiefs’ Super Bowl celebration that resulted in one death and almost two dozen injuries. The teenager was arraigned on a charge of unlawful use of a weapon and may be tried as an adult. Another 16-year-old is also being held on a gun charge, while two men are facing second-degree murder and weapons charges. Three additional men are charged with federal offenses related to the illegal purchase of firearms used in the shooting. Authorities have revealed that multiple individuals fired weapons at the crowded event.
