Luke McCaffrey outpaces Christian in the 40-yard dash
Christian McCaffrey has been a top NFL running back since 2017, and now his younger brother Luke is entering pro football as a receiver. Luke ran a faster 40-yard dash than Christian at the Scouting Combine, with a time of 4.47 seconds compared to Christian’s 4.48 seconds. Luke had a successful season at Rice in 2023, and previously played quarterback before transitioning to receiver. Despite being seen as a third-day selection, Luke has NFL pedigree and potential to continue developing. He has met with the 49ers and it would be a great storyline if both McCaffrey brothers end up on the same team.
