NFL Executives Believe Seahawks’ Sam Darnold is Lacking Support from Klint Kubiak and Kenneth Walker III
After leading the Seattle Seahawks to a Super Bowl win, quarterback Sam Darnold is struggling this season following the departure of offensive coordinator Klint Kubiak and MVP running back Kenneth Walker III, who signed with the Kansas City Chiefs. NFL insider Jason La Canfora noted Darnold is regressing, resembling his earlier, less successful years. He highlighted Darnold’s need for strong coaching, as his performance plummeted to 26th in adjusted QBR and he has thrown equal touchdowns and interceptions. Meanwhile, Walker excels with the Chiefs, raising questions about Seattle’s decisions and Darnold’s future with the team.
