Ravens’ Mark Andrews adopted unique rehab method to return for playoffs

Ravens’ Mark Andrews Embraces Unconventional Rehab Approach to Make Playoff Comeback

Mark Andrews, Baltimore Ravens tight end, has recovered from a fractured fibula through the use of a hyperbaric oxygen chamber and is on track to play in the divisional round matchup against the Houston Texans. He credited Hall of Fame wideout Terrell Owens for drawing attention to the technique, which helped Owens recover from a similar injury in 2004. Andrews also praised the Ravens’ medical staff for his progress. He stated that if he feels he can be helpful to the team, he will play, and if not, he will let his teammates go and hope to play in the next weekend. His return to the field is somewhat miraculous given his recent surgery, and it would be a big lift for the Ravens.
