Trevor Lawrence of the Jaguars dealing with knee sprain ahead of short week Saints matchup
Jacksonville Jaguars coach Doug Pederson provided an update on quarterback Trevor Lawrence’s sprained left knee, calling him “day-to-day” and stating that he was feeling better. Pederson did not confirm whether Lawrence would play in the upcoming game against the New Orleans Saints. Lawrence sustained the injury during a game against the Indianapolis Colts, and Pederson defended the play call that led to the injury. Lawrence completed 20 of 30 passes for 181 yards in the game. He was not limping after the game but was wearing a knee brace.
