ORCHARD PARK – The Buffalo Bills open their three-game preseason schedule with their only one at Highmark Stadium Saturday when they host the Indianapolis Colts at 1 p.m.
The final two preseason games are at Pittsburgh on Aug. 19 and at Chicago on Aug. 26.
The Bills are not expected to play many of their starters, and it’s unlikely that Josh Allen will see the field. Still, there is plenty to pay attention to as the three critical position battles at right guard, middle linebacker, and second cornerback are wide open.

This is the 10th time these teams have played in the preseason, the most recent being last year, also in Orchard Park, when the Bills came away with a 27-24 victory.
One familiar face on the Colts will be wide receiver Isaiah McKenzie who spent five years with the Bills, catching 137 passes for 1,316 yards and 11 touchdowns before signing with Indianapolis. He’s in competition to win Indy’s slot role. Another ex-Bill, running back Zack Moss, is sidelined and will not play.
