Former QB doesn’t rule out Tom Brady returning to play in 2023

Tom Brady has already unretired once, so would anyone really be surprised if he did it again?

Former Dallas Cowboys quarterback-turned-broadcaster Tory Aikman believes it’s possible Brady could return to the sidelines again in 2023, especially now given the uncertainty surrounding Las Vegas Raiders quarterback Jimmy Garoppolo’s foot injury and Brady’s recent ownership stake in the team.

“I would think that he would want to have a fairly significant role within the organization,” Aikman told TMZ Sports. “Maybe (he’d be) involved to the point where he’s actually suiting up. I don’t want to speak for Tom, (but) I wouldn’t rule anything out. He obviously has a relationship with the head coach, he knows the offense, he’ll keep himself in great shape. … I would bet that nothing’s off the table, as far as what may occur during the season, or what Tom’s role may be. I think he’s done playing, but you just never know.”
