“Jerry Jones Expresses Thoughts on DaRon Bland and Jake Ferguson Following Mistakes in Loss to Buccaneers”
Cornerback DaRon Bland and tight end Jake Ferguson faced criticism from fans and media after the Dallas Cowboys’ surprising 24-16 loss to the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, dropping them to 2-3. Owner Jerry Jones defended Bland, emphasizing that he hasn’t suffered a decline in skills despite dropping a potential game-tying interception. Jones acknowledged that Bland needs to elevate his performance but trusts in his past capabilities. Similarly, he backed Ferguson, who had an uncharacteristic drop that led to a late interception. Both players are expected to contribute as the Cowboys prepare for their next game against the Green Bay Packers.
