Cowboys’ Prescott Frustrated by Stadium Worker’s Remarks Following Loss
In a disappointing 24-16 loss to the winless Tampa Bay Buccaneers, Dak Prescott reflected on a third-party contractor calling the game “embarrassing.” While Prescott avoided labeling the performance as such, he acknowledged the Cowboys should have won at home against a struggling team. Dallas struggled offensively, scoring just 16 points and allowing a season-high 241 rushing yards. Owner Jerry Jones expressed confidence in defensive coordinator Christian Parker, despite the team’s lackluster defensive performance. With a 2-3 record, the Cowboys have a 10-day break before facing the Packers, emphasizing the need for improvement moving forward.
