Prisco’s NFL Week 5 Power Rankings: Chargers and Texans Struggle, while Browns Surge Up Nine Spots
Both the Los Angeles Chargers and Houston Texans are experiencing disappointing seasons, starting at 0-4 and likely missing the playoffs. Preseason, the Texans were anticipated as AFC contenders, while the Chargers seemed revitalized with a new offensive coordinator, Mike McDaniel. However, both teams have faced significant struggles, particularly on offense for the Chargers and underwhelming defensive performances for the Texans, who previously drew comparisons to the 1985 Bears defense. The Texans may have a better chance to improve, but they trail in their division. The outlook for both teams is bleak as they grapple with fundamental issues.
