Ravens Release Kicker Moody Following Loop’s Impressive Season Debut
Baltimore Ravens kicker Tyler Loop secured his position after a strong performance in a 41-23 win against the Indianapolis Colts, hitting two long field goals, including a career-high 57 yards. As a result, the team released Jake Moody from the practice squad. Despite a rocky preseason, Loop’s work ethic reassured coach Jesse Minter about his capabilities. In response to injuries to wide receivers Zay Flowers and Ja’Kobi Lane, the Ravens signed Gage Larvadain to the practice squad. Larvadain, formerly with the Browns, provides additional depth and has experience as a punt returner.
