Bills Release Punter Wishnowsky and Wide Receiver Hardman
The Buffalo Bills announced the release of veteran wide receiver Mecole Hardman Jr. and punter Mitch Wishnowsky as they aim to finalize their 53-man roster by the NFL deadline. Hardman’s best shot at making the team was as a punt returner; however, the Bills are giving rookie Ray Davis more opportunities in that role, despite his recent muffed punt. Hardman, a three-time Super Bowl champion with the Kansas City Chiefs, joined Buffalo’s practice squad last November and was active for only four games in the 2025 season. Rookie Tommy Doman Jr. has earned the starting punter position.
