Jordan Devey, Former Patriots Guard and Super Bowl Champion, Dies by Suicide at 38
Jordan Devey, a retired NFL offensive lineman who won a Super Bowl with the New England Patriots, passed away at age 38, reportedly by suicide. A GoFundMe page for his wife, Linsey, and their four children has raised over $92,000 towards a $200,000 goal. Devey, who didn’t play high school football due to a knee condition, later played college football at Snow College and Memphis. After going undrafted in 2013, he joined the Patriots and was part of their Super Bowl XLIX victory. He also played for several other NFL teams and later coached youth football. His mother suggested that CTE may have contributed to his death.
