Chiefs WR Rashee Rice Sentenced to Jail for Probation Violation

Kansas City Chiefs wide receiver Rashee Rice has been sentenced to 30 days in jail after testing positive for marijuana, violating his probation from a 2024 crash that injured multiple people. The incident involved Rice driving a Lamborghini at 119 mph, leading to injuries and his fleeing the scene. He pleaded guilty to multiple felony charges and was ordered to pay approximately $115,000 in medical expenses to victims. Rice recently underwent knee surgery and faces a six-game suspension from the NFL for violating the league’s conduct policy. He is set to be released on June 16, after minicamp.
