Virginia Tech football: Several former Hokies sign NFL UDFA deals or earn rookie tryout

Virginia Tech Football: Multiple Former Hokies Ink NFL UDFA Contracts or Secure Rookie Tryouts

The 2026 NFL Draft concluded with no Virginia Tech Hokies being selected, marking the second time in three years and third time in seven years that this has occurred. Notably, former Hokies cornerback Mansoor Delane was picked sixth overall by the Kansas City Chiefs after transferring to LSU. Virginia Tech previously had at least one player drafted annually since 1993, until 2019. Despite no draft selections, several players signed undrafted free-agent deals or received minicamp tryouts, including RB Terion Stewart, who signed with the Chiefs. The progress of these players will be monitored as they embark on their NFL careers.
