Veteran DT Rakeem Nunez-Roches Returns to the Tampa Bay Buccaneers
Rakeem Nunez-Roches, an 11-year NFL veteran, is returning to the Tampa Bay Buccaneers after a three-season stint with the New York Giants. Known as “Nacho,” he played 40 games for the Giants with 20 starts after joining as a free agent in 2023. Despite the Giants’ head coach John Harbaugh aiming to bolster the defensive line, the team has made minimal moves this offseason, adding only journeyman Sam Roberts. D.J. Davidson has recently signed with the Washington Commanders. The Giants plan to continue searching for defensive line improvements through free agency and the 2026 NFL Draft.
