Ravens receiver Bateman ruled out against Steelers due to illness
Jamison Hensley, a reporter covering the Baltimore Ravens for ESPN, confirmed that wide receiver Rashod Bateman will miss the AFC North title game against the Steelers due to an illness. Bateman, the team’s fifth-leading receiver, was downgraded to out after missing practice with the flu. Ravens coach John Harbaugh had hoped he would be cleared in time for the game. This marks the fourth game Bateman has missed this season. As a first-round pick in 2021, Bateman has had a disappointing season with only 19 catches for 224 yards and 2 touchdowns. Hensley previously won the Maryland Sportswriter of the Year award.
