Cardinals place QB Murray on injured reserve
Arizona Cardinals quarterback Kyler Murray will go on injured reserve as he continues to recover from a foot injury. The injury is not season-ending, and Murray has a chance to return if his foot heals. With Murray out for at least four weeks, Jacoby Brissett will be the starter with Kedon Slovis as his backup. Murray could return in Week 14 against the Los Angeles Rams. The decision was a collective one made by the team and Murray. Murray’s foot injury is challenging for him to overcome due to his playing style, but he is focused on getting healthy and returning to play.
