Sanders, Cowboys player, to undergo season-ending surgery
Dallas Cowboys running back Miles Sanders will undergo season-ending surgery on his left knee, as confirmed by the team’s executive vice president, Stephen Jones. Sanders had been dealing with a knee issue since training camp and had played in four games before being unable to finish practice last week. The surgery Sanders will undergo involves a chondral tissue graft to improve joint function. With Sanders out, Javonte Williams has taken over as the main ball carrier for the Cowboys, with rookie Jaydon Blue as the backup. The team also has other options at running back on the roster and practice squad.
