Steelers TE out for season with torn Achilles tendon

Pittsburgh Steelers tight end ruled out for remainder of season due to torn Achilles tendon injury

The Pittsburgh Steelers have lost tight end Donald Parham Jr. to a season-ending injury, a torn Achilles tendon suffered during offseason team activities. This injury will require nine to 12 months of recovery, meaning Parham will miss the 2025 NFL season. Parham, 27, was entering his fifth NFL season, having previously played for the Los Angeles Chargers. In 2023, he had career-high marks of 27 catches for 285 yards and four touchdowns. The Steelers still have Pat Freiermuth and Darnell Washington at tight end, with Washington receiving positive feedback this offseason.
