Jared Verse of the Rams named NFL’s Defensive Rookie of the Year, Josh Allen of the Bills named MVP
Jared Verse, the Rams’ first-round draft pick, was voted the NFL’s top defensive rookie. He was confident on the field and off it, wearing a sharp suit at NFL Honors. He is the first Rams player to win since 2014. Buffalo’s Josh Allen was the most valuable player, Philadelphia’s Saquon Barkley was the offensive player of the year, and Washington’s Jayden Daniels was the offensive rookie of the year. Arik Armstead of the Jaguars won the Walter Payton Man of the Year award. Verse expressed his goal to become one of the best players in the league, and his determination to stay focused on that goal.
