Mike McCarthy will not be coaching for the 2025 season
Mike McCarthy, former head coach of the Dallas Cowboys, will not be coaching in the NFL for the 2025 season. He is reportedly focusing on the 2026 hiring cycle. McCarthy had interviewed for the Chicago Bears job, which went to Ben Johnson, and was in discussions with the New Orleans Saints. However, he ultimately decided to take a year off.
