Report: Chiefs’ Marquise ‘Hollywood’ Brown Set to Sit Out 2024 Regular Season
Marquise Brown, also known as “Hollywood,” may not play for the Kansas City Chiefs in the regular season due to shoulder surgery. He is on injured reserve for at least four games after dislocating his shoulder joint. Coach Andy Reid initially thought Brown would return soon, but now says it could be months. Despite Brown’s absence, the Chiefs’ wide receiver corps performed well in a recent game. The team also expects JuJu Smith-Schuster to contribute more after limited practice time. Brown’s injury is similar to one suffered by Tyreek Hill, who missed four games in 2019. The Chiefs hope to have Brown back before the postseason.
