Douglas Coleman III of the Bears sustains injury during tackle, immobilized and transported to hospital
Chicago Bears cornerback Douglas Coleman III was injured during a preseason game against the Chiefs and was transported to the hospital. Coleman was immobilized on a stretcher after making a tackle that resulted in an awkward neck injury. Trainers and doctors rushed to his aid on the field, and Coleman was seen moving his extremities before being taken to the hospital for further evaluation. The Bears went on to win the game, but the focus was on Coleman’s well-being. Coleman played college football at Texas Tech and spent time in the CFL before signing with the Broncos as a free agent in 2020.
