Vikings Sign Former NFL Quarterback as Quarterback Coach
The Minnesota Vikings have hired Josh McCown as their quarterbacks coach for the 2024 season, while Chris O’Hara is now the team’s pass game specialist. This is McCown’s second job as an NFL quarterbacks coach, with his previous stint ending when his former head coach was fired. Known for his veteran presence and leadership, McCown spent 18 seasons in the NFL and even received consideration for a head coaching job. Interestingly, McCown and current Vikings head coach Kevin O’Connell were both with the Cleveland Browns in 2015, with O’Connell as the quarterbacks coach. Now, O’Connell is a head coach and McCown will serve as his quarterbacks coach.
