Titans name Wentz as Rams’ starting quarterback for NFL return
Carson Wentz, previously thought to be finished in the NFL at 30, is set to return with the Los Angeles Rams. The move comes as Rams starting quarterback Matthew Stafford is dealing with a thumb injury. Wentz, who was drafted by the Eagles in 2016 and has had a tumultuous career since, is expected to back up Stafford in LA. In other quarterback news, Tennessee Titans coach Mike Vrabel announced that rookie Will Levis will remain the starter in place of the injured Ryan Tannehill. Levis has performed well in his two starts, while Tannehill has struggled this season.
