“Stay Strong: Lamar Jackson Assures Teammates He Intends to Make a Comeback This Season”
Baltimore Ravens quarterback Lamar Jackson suffered a thumb injury during Week 8 against the Buffalo Bills and is expected to miss at least six weeks for surgery on his fractured thumb, with recovery possibly extending to nine weeks. Despite being placed on injured reserve, Jackson reassured teammates he aims to return before the season ends, urging them to “stay alive” in the meantime. The Ravens traded for Jacoby Brissett to fill in, as they work to remain in playoff contention. Jackson’s earlier performances showcased his skills, but he faces criticism that teammate Marlon Humphrey believes is unfair.
