Caleb Williams and Newcomer Jeffery Simmons Lead Bears to Victory Over Struggling Seahawks
Caleb Williams led the Chicago Bears to a 34-17 victory over the Seattle Seahawks, throwing for 247 yards and a touchdown with no turnovers. D’Andre Swift contributed three short rushing touchdowns, while Jeffery Simmons, newly acquired from Tennessee, made a significant defensive impact with a sack and six tackles. The Bears improved to 6-2, dominating Seattle’s offense and holding them to just 252 yards. Sam Darnold passed for 188 yards and two touchdowns but was hampered by an interception that set up Swift’s final touchdown. The Seahawks, now 4-4, struggle to maintain playoff hopes, having lost three of four games.
