Ravens Add QB Austin Reed to Practice Squad
The Baltimore Ravens signed quarterback Austin Reed to their practice squad following injuries to Lamar Jackson and Tyler Huntley. Undrafted rookie Joe Fagnano will start in Week 9, but Reed, familiar with the Ravens’ offense from training camp and his time with Declan Doyle in Chicago, provides essential backup. Fagnano has an ankle injury after taking hits in the previous game. The Ravens are awaiting updates on Huntley’s turf toe injury, which may influence future quarterback decisions. If Huntley’s absence extends, GM Eric DeCosta faces tough choices on maintaining depth for the season.
