Saquon Barkley Aims to Stay and Assist Eagles in ‘Fixing It’; Philly Plans to Retain Him
Eagles running back Saquon Barkley expressed his desire to remain with the team amid trade rumors following their sixth consecutive loss. After a 27-10 defeat to Washington, Barkley stated, “I would love to be here” and emphasized his commitment to helping solve the team’s issues rather than leaving. He has dealt with injuries but contributed 14 touches for 54 yards and a touchdown in the game. With the trade deadline approaching on November 10 and the Eagles struggling at 2-6, Barkley reaffirmed his leadership role and expressed hope for a turnaround while the team seems keen on keeping him.
