Marshall Faulk, Hall of Famer and Southern Coach, Shares His Parkinson’s Diagnosis
Marshall Faulk, the Pro Football Hall of Fame running back and Southern University coach, has been diagnosed with Parkinson’s disease, which he revealed during a podcast. At 53, he reports manageable symptoms, primarily hand rigidity and slight tremors, and is committed to helping others facing similar challenges. Having played over a decade in the NFL and won a Super Bowl, Faulk retired in 2007 and was inducted into the Hall of Fame in 2011. He remains active in football, currently coaching, and has experienced no cognitive decline. Faulk views his diagnosis as a manageable condition rather than a terminal one.
