Ravens Re-sign Kicker Jake Moody Following Tyler Loop’s Miss in Cleveland
The Ravens waived linebacker Carl Jones Jr. and are expected to re-sign him to the practice squad. They also re-signed kicker Jake Moody to increase competition for Tyler Loop, who has struggled with three missed kicks inside 40 yards this season. Although Loop started strong, hitting long field goals, his recent inconsistency has raised concerns. Moody, who was originally with the team in September after Loop’s uneven preseason, has faced his own challenges since joining the NFL. The coaching staff may consider switching kickers if Loop’s performance does not improve in the upcoming weeks.
