Nick Sirianni Stands Firm on OC and QB Positions Amidst Eagles’ Losing Streak
Eagles coach Nick Sirianni announced he will not replace offensive coordinator Sean Mannion or quarterback Tanner McKee despite the team’s six-game losing streak. The Eagles, currently at 2-6, rank 30th in the NFL in scoring, averaging just 17.1 points per game. Mannion, in his first year as playcaller, is implementing a new offensive system, but challenges have arisen due to injuries and player changes, including the retirement of right tackle Lane Johnson and the loss of quarterback Jalen Hurts. Sirianni emphasized the need for solutions while reaffirming his confidence in McKee as the starter ahead of their matchup with the Giants.
