Texans Place WR Jaylin Noel on IR Due to Expected Season-Ending Turf Toe Injury
DJ Bien-Aime reports that the Houston Texans’ wideout Jaylin Noel has been placed on injured reserve due to turf toe and is expected to miss the remainder of the season. The second-year player from Iowa State led the team in receiving yards (331) and averaged 17.4 yards per reception. To fill the gap, Tank Dell has returned after a lengthy injury absence, and Marvin Harrison Jr., acquired in a trade, has made an immediate impact. The Texans, currently 2-5, signed running back Emari Demercado to the roster during this transition period.
