George Pickens Responds After Brian Schottenheimer Calls Him Out
Dallas Cowboys coach Brian Schottenheimer called out George Pickens after their Week 6 loss to the Packers, urging him to improve his blocking in the run game. Pickens, however, seemed unwelcoming to the coach’s challenge, stating he’s following directives and emphasizing team improvement. Schottenheimer’s public critique is notable, especially given Pickens’ past issues with his previous team before being traded to Dallas. Despite this, Schottenheimer has maximized Pickens’ performance, as evidenced by his career highs last season and solid start this year with 428 yards and a touchdown through six games.
