NFL Week 5 Recap: NFC East Struggles Reach New Low After Disappointing Performances
The Eagles faced a heartbreaking loss against the Jaguars in Week 5, despite having opportunities late in the game. After leading 17-16, they allowed a lengthy kickoff return that set up Jacksonville’s winning field goal. Coach Nick Sirianni’s tactical decisions in the final moments were criticized, particularly his management of the clock and play calls, leading to missed opportunities. Meanwhile, Bears quarterback Tyson Bagent had a dismal performance against the Packers, completing just 12 of 21 passes with two interceptions. Additionally, the Commanders’ poor decision-making in overtime resulted in a frustrating tie against the Giants.
