Cowboys News: Joey Porter Jr. Set to Play Sunday Against Texans
Joey Porter Jr. is set to debut for the Dallas Cowboys against the Houston Texans after being traded from the Pittsburgh Steelers. He practiced without injury designation and is expected to contribute immediately. The Cowboys have been addressing communication issues following their recent loss, and Porter’s addition may allow for tactical adjustments in the secondary, potentially enhancing rookie Caleb Downs’ role. Meanwhile, defenders Malik Hooker and Shavon Revel Jr. have returned from injuries, although Cobie Durant and DeMarvion Overshown remain sidelined. Coach Brian Schottenheimer emphasized the team’s win-now mentality, supporting bold roster moves.
