Kyle Shanahan Provides Injury Update on Mike Evans for Week 4 Matchup Against Broncos
Mike Evans has shown strong early performances in the last two games for the San Francisco 49ers but suffered injuries both times. He recorded three catches for 54 yards against the Miami Dolphins before a hip injury and three catches for 34 yards and a touchdown against the Arizona Cardinals before leaving with a rib injury. Coach Kyle Shanahan stated Evans will be a game-time decision for Sunday’s matchup against the Denver Broncos. After missing practice on Wednesday and Thursday, Evans is officially questionable, with Shanahan indicating the rib issue may not be long-term.
