49ers Owner Jed York Banned and Fined $500K Following Prostitution Sting Arrest
NFL suspended San Francisco 49ers owner Jed York for six games and fined him $500,000 following his arrest in a prostitution sting in Ohio. York was caught attempting to pay $160 for sex and later pleaded no contest to charges of disorderly conduct and possessing criminal tools. He served one day in jail and completed a fine of $1,150 while his payment was donated to a human trafficking task force. York has missed all games and league meetings this season but can return on October 20 after the 49ers’ game against Washington. He also holds stakes in Leeds United and Rangers.
