Browns Head Coach Todd Monken Responds to Mike Tomlin Following Week 2 Victory
After the Cleveland Browns’ embarrassing Week 1 loss to the Jacksonville Jaguars, former Steelers coach Mike Tomlin made a quip, “The Browns is the Browns,” sparking laughter across the NFL. However, Browns head coach Todd Monken and his players were unamused. Following a 24-19 victory over the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, Monken responded to Tomlin’s comment, emphasizing that the locker room took it seriously and declared, “The Browns are going to Browns, f— that,” before leaving the press conference. Monken’s strong reaction highlighted the team’s determination to rise above the jokes.
