Reports: Man Arrested in Attempted Burglary of Barkley’s Residence
A 24-year-old man, Jabir Parker, has been arrested for attempting to break into the home of Philadelphia Eagles running back Saquon Barkley and for two other burglaries. Charged with multiple felonies, including conspiracy to burglary and theft, Parker was apprehended with the help of various law enforcement agencies. While Barkley and his family were unharmed during the incident on July 18, Parker is alleged to have stolen nearly $800,000 in jewelry from other homes. He is currently held on a $1 million bail, and authorities are searching for additional suspects. The investigation relied on cellphone data and surveillance footage.
