No. 1 draft pick Fernando Mendoza debuted for the Las Vegas Raiders, throwing a touchdown pass in a 27-14 loss to the Arizona Cardinals. He completed 10 of 16 passes for 97 yards and a six-yard TD to Jack Bech, becoming the first top draft pick since Baker Mayfield in 2018 to throw a touchdown in his preseason debut.
