49ers Coach Kyle Shanahan Injured in Car Accident, Faces Limitations as Training Camp Begins
San Francisco 49ers coach Kyle Shanahan was injured in a car crash earlier this month, resulting in a concussion, a broken nose, several broken ribs, and hand injuries. Although the team described the injuries as “non-life-threatening,” they will limit his participation at the start of training camp. Assistant head coach Chris Foerster will lead practices in Shanahan’s absence.
